Jennifer received her bachelors of arts in
Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
where she was a NCAA student-athlete. Jennifer 
completed her masters of science in Mental Health
Counselling at Niagara University. She is a 
member of the Ontario Association of Consultants,
Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists
(OACCPP) and is registered psychotherapist with the College 
of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. (RP)
 
Area of Expertise
 
 Jennifer specializes in children and teenagers
by using play therapy and creative activities to establish a
safe and welcoming environment. Jennifer has experience
running teen groups which discuss the issues of eating
disorders, self-mutilation, anxiety, bullying, peer issues,
family issues and personal empowerment.  

 

Experience

 

Jennifer has experience working with couples, employee assistance program clients and individuals who have been in motor vehicle accidents. Jennifer is trained to administer psychological assessments and under supervision of a psychologist. Jennifer previously worked at the Niagara General Hospital (GNGH) where she facilitated groups in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Wellness. She also worked 

at a non-profit agency where she worked with individuals with developmental disabilities.
